It rocks!

John got the first of his Father's Day gifts this weekend (as we'll be getting ready for camping next weekend). One was a new 46-inch full HD LCD tv and the other is AppleTV.

With Apple TV, we can purchase shows as we want to see them or even whole series of things--like the first season of The Smurfs (as we did get...the people writing that show were on some major drugs, btw). Right now we have the first season of Schoolhouse Rock going. Anyway, this works better for us than cable or satellite because we don't watch much tv as it is and don't need to pay $$ for something we'll never use. With AppleTV, it's more like "cable a la carte".

I still remember The Preamble song from 8th grade social studies! Now I can hear it every day, lol.
